John Hopewell is a partner in EcoArmor Pest Defense and has worked in pest control since 2013. He is licensed by the Texas Department of Agriculture under licence #0748345.
Thirteen years in pest control
John entered the industry in 2013, when he and his brother Josh bought Integreen Pest Control and rebranded it as QuickSumo Pest Control. QuickSumo merged with EcoArmor Pest Defense in 2020, joining the company their brother Jordan had founded in 2017. The three brothers have run EcoArmor together since.
More than 23 years in property damage restoration
Alongside pest control, John is co-owner of Rainy Day Restoration and Roofing. He founded Angelic Restoration and merged it with Rainy Day in 2013, bringing the companies together around the belief that restoration is about people first and buildings second.
Across that career he has worked on thousands of residential and commercial projects involving water damage, mold remediation, structural drying, fire and smoke damage, odor removal and large property losses.

Why that matters on a pest job
Moisture is the thread that runs through both trades. The conditions John spends his restoration career diagnosing — a crawl space that never dries, a slow leak inside a wall, water sitting under a slab — are the same conditions that bring roaches, give termites a path in, and turn a small ant problem into a recurring one. Someone who reads water problems for a living is unusually good at spotting the cause behind a pest problem instead of just treating the symptom.
